Publishing Your Experience

Once you're ready to show-off your work to the world, you can publish your experience online!

To publish your experience online, navigate to the Share button at the top right corner of the web editor. Below the list of collaborators on your experience is another modal dialog that says "Publish Online." Simply click the "Publish Experience" button to generate a public URL that hosts your experience.

<aside> 🗒️ Note: Only the Owner of an experience can publish an experience online. If you are a Viewer, Editor, or Admin, you will see the "Publish Experience" button but it will do nothing when clicked. For more on user permissions, check out our documentation here.

Viewing Your Published Experience

Once an experience is published, you will get a public URL where that experience is hosted. You can copy this URL to your clipboard by clicking the “Copy shareable URL” button.

Opening this URL in another tab will immediately allow you to access your experience. Both Enklu and non-Enklu users can access published experiences, so you can share your work with whoever you want regardless of if they use Enklu Cloud!

The URL for a published experience remains constant, so feel free to share (or re-share) an experience's public link as many times as you want.

Embedding a Published Experience

If you want to embed a published experience on a website, you can copy the embed code to your clipboard by clicking the “Copy embed code” button.

When embedded on a website, a public experience will look something like this:

Unpublishing an Experience

If you'd like to take down a published experience, re-navigate to the Share button. Under "Publish Online,” there should be a button called "Unpublish Experience."

Clicking this button will instantly deactivate your experience's public link. Individuals who click on your experience's former public link will now see a blank page:

If you'd like to re-publish your experience, you can always click the "Publish Experience" button to make it public again.
